Dear Aurora Voter:

During my campaign for City Council, I have knocked on hundreds of doors in Ward I in order to meet residents in person.

Although city elections are nonpartisan, many residents asked me about my party affiliation. I told them that I was a Republican and then I asked if that was the right answer or the wrong answer. I found that nearly 80% of those asking par ty affiliation were Republicans.

Based on those inquiries I decided to write to you. I want you to know that I am a Republican, Ronald Reagan style, and was unanimously appointed to City Council a year ago. It would be an honor to continue to serve you and I would appreciate your vote.

Best Regards,
